For Jack Child, CEO of G-FORCE® Franchises for Veterans, navigating the coronavirus has been a new challenge.

“G-FORCE® puts U.S. military veterans into the parking lot striping and pavement marking business using the franchise business model,” Child explained. “Our first priority is the health and safety of our owners and their employees. Our crews work mostly in isolation to begin with and we have been sharing industry best practices with our partners.”

Despite being a service that performs work in an isolated manner, Child noted that many businesses are holding off on making commitments for the time being. In the face of such uncertainty, a company-wide shift felt necessary.

“The lead flow for new work for our franchise partners has definitely slowed,” Child said. “We are in the investigatory stages of determining the viability of using our wheel-mounted spray machines to re-purpose for spraying disinfectant on exterior surfaces such as bus stops, stadiums, handrails, office doors, mailboxes, shopping carts, etc., as both a short-term and long-term option to add to our portfolio of services.”
